My name is Daniel Segerberg and I went out from the Royal University College of Fine Arts in Stockholm 2004. Since then I’ve been living more or less in Berlin.
I work with installations that take form direct on the spot.
I use materials that I find in the nearby surrounding.
I collect and bring the material to the exhibition space. The found material is a starting point for an artistic process, but also a limitation depending on what kind of material I find. The material takes a temporary habitation in my installations, a roundabout, and then often returns to the breaking down process. Lately I have also been adapting this artistic method in different collaboration works, workshops and collective sculpture events.
